We are proud to offer many different examples of up-to-date dental technology—all designed to make your time with us faster, more comfortable, and more efficient.
We offer everything from improved x-rays to waiting room televisions for your convenience. We even have the latest endodontic technology and computers in every room to make your visit that much easier.
X-Rays
In our office, we use both digital and panoramic x-rays. Digital x-rays are much faster than traditional x-rays, without sacrificing any of the detail. Digital x-rays also use less radiation which makes them safer for everyone!
Panoramic x-rays can capture a full image of a patient’s mouth in a single image, including the full range of teeth and surrounding tissues. From this single image, it’s possible to gain plenty of information while only requiring a small amount of our patients’ time.
CEREC Technology
CEREC, which stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, makes it possible to take precise impressions and then create dental crowns in the office quickly and conveniently. With CEREC, you can receive permanent, long-lasting crowns, inlays, onlays, and more in a single visit to our office!
Cone Beam Technology
With this technology your dentist can collect a 3D image of your teeth, tissues, nerves, and bones in no time. The detailed 3D image that cone beam technology presents makes it possible for your dentist to gain a greater understanding of your mouth and prescribe the most accurate, personalized treatments possible.
Intraoral Cameras
These small, handheld cameras are used to get a closer look at patients’ teeth. Intraoral cameras are only about the size of a pen, and their small size makes it possible to capture details of individual teeth. These cameras can also project images so that our patients can see exactly what the dentist is looking at and gain a deeper understanding of their dental health.
Soft-Tissue Laser
Lasers have multiple uses throughout the dental field. We use the Gemini EVO laser from Ultradent in a safe and efficient way to perform minimally-invasive procedures, such as removing lesions and cold sores in the mouth and relieving the pain of canker sores. Our laser also is capable of photobiomodulation (red light therapy) where it can help treat TMJ issues and general malaise.
